These look a little lived-in right out of the box. The 8oz. fabric is lightweight and breathable and can easily be worn all day – for actual manual labor or simple lounging.

The second important part is the fit. The 80s Fit from Stan Ray fits just the way a good pair of 501s should. They re not too boxy or too wide and taper just enough to have a clean leg opening, without getting too slim. Where a bright white, boxy painter pant can feel a little costumey, this one feels natural, easy, and comfortable. Now go out and get them dirty—get those reverse fades!
